Rupee Co-op. Bank Ltd. was established in the year 1912 who got motivation to develop it as a cooperative society by the works of Late Lokmanya Tilak. The founder members were Late Shri. Govindrao Dharap, Late Shri. Keshavrao Doke and Late Shri. Kalurambhau Naik.
The bank celebrated platinum jubilee anniversary in 1986-1987. It received scheduled stature in 1988.
The bank mainly operates in Maharashtra with a present branch network of 36 with 5 extension counters. All branches of the bank are computerized. Teller facility is available at many branches of the bank.
The bank has also entered into agreement with other banks for Demand Draft drawing arrangements at important locations all over India.
