The sum assured is Rs. 1,00,000 irrespective of the amount in the savings account.
The policy period is one year but the bank may consider continuing the scheme at its discretion.
The facilities are available only if the account was opened during the time frame of 10th June 2010 and 31st March 2011.
The rights for admission or rejection of the claims are reserved under the Insurance company.

This account can be opened with an initial deposit of Rs. 50 in rural semi-urban areas and for Rs. 100 in urban and metro branches.
The balance in the account in access of Rs. 10,000 can can be converted from savings account to cumulative time deposit scheme for a period of six months to ten years depending on the age of the child.
Till the time child attains maturity, an extra interest of 0.50% p.a. above card rates will be allowed on the time deposits.

This account can be opened with a minimum deposit of Rs. 50
No service charge is applicable for non-maintenance of minimum account balance.
The amount of total credits during an year must not exceed Rs. 1,00,000 and the balance in the account should not exceed Rs. 50,000.
The account can be opened at any of the bank's branches.
Nomination facility can also be availed on the this account.
