Every bank branch should have ATM: Union minister

Focusing on the growth of the banking sector Union minister of State for Finance Namo Narayan Meena have asked all the bank branches to provide ATM facility by the end of this march. New bank branches are established along with the ATM . Further it has been reported that the ATMs should be established not only on the banking sites, but at the crowded and busy areas as well like near shopping malls, universities, colleges etc.

All the old banking branches should start the ATM facility so that the people stay connected with banking facilities. Adding up of new branches, infrastructure enhancement will be help to control the poverty in the country. The number of branches has increased up to 1 lakh.

According to the UPA-II plans more branches will be established in villages. One out of nine branches of Bhartiya Mahila Bank will be opening in jaipur by the of march this year. Dena bank will opening nearly 15 new branches in rajasthan this year and 25% of the branches will be in rural areas.
