HDFC bank expanding its network in south

Public sector lender HDFC bank is rapidly setting up the branches in south. In last five years bank has doubled its branch. Bank is having 200 branches in Tamil Nadu. Recently bank has launched its 200th branch in Tamil Nadu.

Mr. Dhiraj Relli, Branch Banking Head inaugurated the branch in Coimbatore, while inaugurating he stated that this is the 18th branch in Coimbatore and 200th Branch in Tamil Nadu. The new branch is a mini branch, with the establishment of this branch the bank is now having 40% of its banking network in semi u Tamil Nadu.

Through these branches bank is aiming to provide banking in the unbanked areas. It was also informed that these mini branches will be same as the existing branches in terms of infrastructure and services. The bank has opened 300 mini branches in the country.
