Public sector general insurance company, United India Insurance has recently launched an insurance literacy campaign in schools.

The literacy campaign was launched by Mr. K Rosaiah, Governor of Tamil Nadu. He further highlighted how lack of financial literacy among people is greatly responsible for the minimum penetration of insurance sector in India.

In order to educate and promote insurance literacy among students, United India Insurance Company has decided to conduct this campaign in 75 government schools as a part of its Platinum Jubilee Celebration.

Mr. G Srinivasan, Chairman and Managing Director of United India Insurance said that they will conduct insurance awareness classes and they will also provide students with sponsor driven safety insurance cover.
