Kotak Mahindra expanding its networking, established ATMs at Mumbai metro stations

Yesterday one of the leading banks of the country Kotak Mahindra bank established 24 new ATM machines across the 12 newly established metro stations in Mumbai. The bank has set up 2 ATMs across each of the 12 stations. The Metro services on the 11.4 km-long Versova-Andheri-Ghatkopar section started yesterday.

The executive vice president of the bank Mr. puneet Kapoor stated that after the establishment of these ATM the total ATMs of the bank are now 1,116. The bank wanted to have total 1,250 ATMs by the end of this fiscal year, so 134 more are yet to be established.

Bank is also planning to have 15 cash depositing machines, at present there are only 7 machines. In the fourth quarter of FY14, the bank opened 70 branches and its total branch network stood at 605 as of end March 2014.
