SBI donated computers to schools in Gujarat

One of the operational branches of State bank of India in Ahmadabad circle planned to help the students of the school. The bank distributed computer sets and peripherals to 150 needy schools in Gujarat.

In addition to the banking, SBI is aiming to help the students in their education. The initiative is purposely to help the schools with infrastructure, which are in need and are not able to acquire due to insufficient funds. To help nearly 59,198 students with their education bank has spent an amount of Rs 46.63 lakh. An admirable initiative taken by the bank to assist students for their future.

As a part of the CSR activity bank work for the society upliftment as well. Chief General Manager of the Ahmadabad Mr. A N Appaiah handed over the computers to the principals of these schools located in and around Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar.
