SBI General Insurance adds over 10,000 customers in Thiruvananthapuram

SBI General Insurance during its first year of operation in Thiruvananthapuram has reported a premium income of Rs. 7.54 crore. The company added over 10,000 customers across retail, corporate, and SME sector during the period.

The company's focus would now be on retail (auto, home, and health) and SME sectors, said Mr. N. Krishna Murthy, Asst. V.P. and a branch head. The insurer operates through 400 of SBIs branches in and around the city.

Company now plans to expand business to Kochi, where it recently opened a branch for the same.
