Standard Chartered Bank ended the partnership with Bajaj Allianz

It has been reported that one of the leading Insurance Company of the country Bajaj Allianz has decided to hire 40,000 new agents. After the end of the partnership with Standard Chartered Bank the company needs to make up for the loss.

It was recently reported that Standard Chartered bank has entered in to Bancassurance partnership with the ICICI prudential. Bajaj Allianz is having more than one lakh individual agents, besides a bancassurance tie up with Yes Bank and a few co-operative banks.

The company has reported for a downfall in its growth in first quarter of the year, but is hoping for improvement from July onwards. CEO of the company stated that we would be hiring 40,000 agents this year to make up for the loss of new business premium. We have had discussions with Standard Chartered Bank to ensure seamless service to the existing policyholders.
