20 new rural branches by KVG

Regional rural bank, Karnataka Vikas Grameena (KVG) Bank has added 20 new branches to its kitty. As a part of the financial inclusion plan of the bank, all these 20 branches have been set up in rural areas by the bank.

All these branches were launched through e-inauguration mode.

The bank has selected 422 villages having population of 2000 and above to be financially included as part of its plan.

"The bank has so far opened nearly nine lakh financial inclusion savings bank (no-frill) accounts and is planning to bridge the credit gaps in these villages," said Mr C Sambasiva Reddy.
