It has been noticed that the rising menace of the bad loan is becoming a serious matter of concern. Profit of the banks is badly affected due to the increasing bad loans of the banks. All India Bank Officers’ Confederation (AIBOC) stated that reasons for these bad loans and the employees and officers unable to control this should not be linked to the revision of wages of the employees.

It has been reported that confederation has decided to agitate against the threat of these rising bad loans. The confederation is launching a country wide agitation against this. Further the trade unions have also called up the publications to publish the name of the defaulters in national newspapers.

In Chennai at the 73rd executive committee meeting Confederation stated that these willful defaults should be declared as criminal offence under the Indian penal code.
