SBBJ profit declined by 41%

Recently it has been reported that State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur has gone through a decline of 41% in its net profit. The profit of the bank decreased to Rs 125 crore from Rs 215 crore in third quarter of the year. Though there has been an increase of 10% in total income of the bank in this quarter.

The Manager of the bank reported that the extra provisioning of bad loans, staff benefits have weighed down the bottom line of the bank. In December 31, 2013 bank has reported a profit Rs 494 crore which is much lower in comparison to the previous year profit which was Rs 552 crore.
