SBI signed MOU with Tata Trust & the Allied Trusts

Leading bank of the country State bank of India has tied up with Sir Dorabji Tata Trust & the Allied Trusts. In order to work for the poverty alleviation and rural development, the bank has signed up memorandum with the Sir Dorabji Tata Trust & the Allied Trusts.

Both the bank and Tata trust will work together for rural enhancement in a sustainable manner. As part of work the Tata trust will be responsible for training and capacity building, identify partner organizations such as farmer producer companies and self help groups and will also provide them technical support, on the other hand the bank will be responsible for taking care of the need-based credit support by providing working capital.
