Axis Bank introduces a new service, which converts mobiles into card acceptance devices

Private sector lender, Axis Bank, has introduced a new service, which converts mobile phones into card acceptance devices. The new service, named ‘Swipeon', has been launched in partnership with Mswipe Technologies and Prizm Payments.

This mobile phone based card acceptance service is simple to operate. The users simply have to attach the card reader, Mswipe, to the mobile.

The new service, Swipeon, is expected to be of help to shopkeepers providing home delivery services, agents of cash on delivery service, taxi drivers and others as this service enables them to accept card payments easily and quickly. This service is also cheap as it requires very small investment.
