| Banks on strike from 25th February |

Finally the bank have declared to go on a 4 day strike starting from 25th of February, 21015. In order protest against the wage revision the banks are making a 4 day strike. From last two years the bank’s wage revision is pending. The Indian Banks’ Association (IBA) is currently negotiating with United Forum of Bank Unions. The wage revision offered by the IBS is not acceptable to the banks they want the hike in their wage revision and since a long time, this issue is going on. On regular intervals banks are going on strikes and protesting for their rights. Banks reported that it is unfair on their part. The entire workforce in the banking industry is making every effort to implement the various programmes of the government including the recent Jan Dhan Yojana, when employees and officers are working under lot of stress and maximum difficulty then they should be awarded with the proper wage hikes. |
