Banks to facilitate proper security measure at ATMs before 31st

The last date to enhance the security facilities at the ATMs has been extended. It is being reported that banks will be held responsible if by 31st December they fail to provide the ATM facilities.

A list of facilities has been provided to the banks that they need to avail at the ATMs before 31st December. It is mandatory for the banks to install CCTV cameras, alarm and security guard at the ATMs. Keeping in mind the ATM attacks the banks are being asked to strict the security provisions at the ATMs.

Manager of the Syndicate bank reported that the deadline has been extended up to 31st December for the banks to properly develop the security facilities at the ATMs, so that customers an be provided with safe banking experience at the ATMs.
