Bhartiya mahila Bank rolled out three new health schemes

Recently it has been reported that the country’s first women oriented bank Bhartiya Mahila Bank has tied up with New India Assurance Company. The bank is planning to launch three to health products for its women customers in association with the New India Assurance Company.

Usha Ananthasubramanian chairman of the company reported that the company and the bank jointly will offer BMB sakhee, BMB Nirbhaya and BMB- parivar suraksha. The three plans will offer complete package of health insurance policies. The customers can access the products from bank branches. The main aim to launch such products is to enhance women empowerment. The BMB sakhee is mainly for rural women which will provide cover upto rs 50,000. The BMB nirbhaya will provide cover up to Rs 5 lakh and the parivar suraksha will offer floater facilities.
