As part of its smart banking services, the new branch will be providing all general banking facilities, wealth management services, loans and credit cards facilities.

The smart banking branch will have a media wall which can be used to display information for the public; it will have touch screens which will provide product demonstrations, a workbench which will enable the customers to do banking transactions independently and it will give customers video conferencing facility through which they can do consultations from the bank's personnel.

Talking about the smart banking facility, Mr. Anand Selvakesari, the Country Business Manager (Global Consumer Group), Citibank India said that "The introduction of smart banking branches underlines our continued investment in technology and commitment to customer-centric innovation. We plan to convert many of our existing branches into Smart Banking branches."
