Gram Panchayats will now have ATMs

The state government has directed nationalized banks to set up automated teller machines (ATMs), in all gram Panchayats (GPs).This direction was under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act due to the delay in the payments of the wages by the banks.
