ICICI bank gained huge amount through Mobile banking facility

The leading private sector bank - ICICI bank is now also the leading bank in the list of share in mobile banking payments in the country. The bank has managed to gain over Rs 1000 crore through Mobile banking.

The GM and head of the bank reported that rapid increase in the use of mobile phones these days has lead to the increase in the use of the banking transactions made by the mobile phones. This year, in the first quarter only the bank has earned half of last financial year’s value. Reports shown that the total value of transactions across banks in the month of June via the mobile banking channel was Rs 3985 crore.

The bank is receiving a good response from its customers through the mobile banking, so the bank has also enhanced its applications and introduced new services that will assist in increasing the banking and business through mobile banking. Not only the urban customers but the rural customers are also using the mobile banking and are making banking transactions through mobile phones. In order to grow the mobile banking channel the bank is planning to offer all the services on mobile that are currently being offered on the web
