Money transfer service through Twitter rolled out by ICICI bank

After the kotak Mahindra Bank ICICI bank has also launched banking on social network. ICICI bank has launched money transfer service on Twitter. The bank has launched the facility for its customers to make the banking more innovative and easy. This facility will enable the customers to transfer money easily through the Social networking site.

The customers can easily register themselves easily with the Onetime password and link their account number. For the transfer, the receiver and sender needs to have a Twitter account. This facility also enables customers to view their account balance, view the recent transactions and recharge mobile pre-paid through Twitter.

The bank has a large network over the country, with about 2.8 million customers on mobile banking. Further the bank has plans to launch digital wallets and digital wearables in the next coming months.
