New Health Insurance scheme – AB Arogyadaan by Andhra Bank

In order to provide with more enhanced health and wealth services to the customers, Andhra Bank has launched a new improvised health Insurance scheme – ‘AB Arogyadaan’. This is an improved plan to take care for the entire family members of the account holders of the family.

Deputy General Manager of the bank Mr. D. Surendra Rao stated that this plan will offer lesser premium rates for a maximum coverage of medical expenses up to Rs. 20 lakh, Further he also stated this is a very beneficial plan offering various benefits. This paln will cover 4 members of the spouse of the account holder and two dependent children. The policy holders were eligible to claim Income Tax relief under 80D for premium paid. This plan will offer cashless treatment facility in 860 hospitals ncluding Nalluri hospital, Venkatramana hospital and Sundarraja Nursing Home in Ongole, for pre-hospitalisation as well as post-hospitalisation.

2. I took the AB Arogyadaan for first time on 09.06.2015.It is almost four months by now. I am yet to get the Identity cards and other documents like list of hospitals covered under this scheme.I contacted the customer care more than dozen times and the concern officials on several occations at Andhra Bank Muralinagar where I took the policy and there is no proper reply from both the ends.It is interesting to note, that the validity of the policy is 12 months and the Identity cards and other policy information is not furnished to the policy holder even after four months. WHAT IS TO BE DONE IN THIS CASE AND WHO IS RESPONSABLE FOR THIS .............

3. If we joined into the hospital which is not in the List of Cashless Hospitals. How can we submit the Claim ?

2. In emergency the cashless hospitals allow us to join immediately or ask us to wait for your approval ?
