Recently it has been reported that due to the increase the ATM frauds a Chennai based company has planned to launch a new type of intelligent ATMs. These new ATMs will deliver non fatal electronic shocks to miscreants looking to steal money.

Further enhancing the security there is also the provision to shut down the shutter of the Kiosk automatically. In addition to the ATMs are also equipped with a panic button that they can use in case one is forced to withdraw the cash from the ATM. This will alert the nearest police station of the area.

These ATMs will help the bank by enhancing the security as well will save the cost incurred in deploying the guards for the security. These new ATMs are compact, and don’t require much space for installation. This could help bring down rental expenses.
