Online shopping through credit cards on upsurge

According to a survey, maximum people opt for using debit and credit cards while doing online shopping. There are almost twice numbers of consumer who choose cards over cash on delivery. According to the data collected it was noticed that among 3,480 consumers 59% uses credit cards, 28% uses debit cards while one 40% opt for cash on delivery. Use of electronic cash (credit and debit cards) had made the payment for the shopping easier.

The survey reported that electronics and accessories were the most common items that people purchase through online shopping. Most of the online shoppers are from Chennai, Delhi NCR, Mumbai, and Bangalore.
