The largest lender of the country, State Bank of India organized a mobile banking camp at Magadh Mahila College, Patna. The motive behind the camp was to make the youth aware of the technology and pursuade them to make more use of mobile banking services (MBS) of the bank.

"Bank in your hand, that's SBI Mobile Banking," was the reaction gathered from the girls who got knowledge about the system.

Regional manager, Region II, SBI administrative office, Patna, Saloni Narain introduced the students to techniques involved in the process and usage of mobile phones for banking transactions. The girls were enthusiastic to know about the process.

SBI chief manager, Personal Banking branch, Bela Khosla talked on the security aspect of the process and also asked the students on the safety measures they should adopt. She also talked about the user ID concept associated with the new technique.
