TMB bank spreading its network across the country

Tamilnad Mercantile Bank is planning to expand its banking business. Bank is working to develop its banking network all across the country and make its presence across the country and become a truly national bank in coming next four years.

Major banking network of the bank is in Tamil Nadu only. The bank has further plans to double up its branches by 2020. By 2020bank has aim to have 800 branches spread all across the country. In addition, from being a “trader-oriented bank”, TMB has decided to focus more on corporate lending. The bank has launched four trade branches across Chennai, Mumbai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad.

Bank is also in the process of hiring professionals, including statisticians, economists and corporate credit specialists, to control new focus areas.
