Axis and ICICI bank working for e-toll payments

The top leading banks of the country – Axis Bank and ICICI bank has planned to work in association with the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) and Indian Highways Management Company Limited (IHMCL) for the launch of the Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) programme on the National Highway 8 (NH-8).

Through this tie up the bank will be provide the facility of e-toll for the passengers. This e-toll facility will allow the passengers to pay the toll tax hassle free. The need to stop and make the payment through the cash will be eliminated. The customers will get facility to pay the tax electronically.

Axis bank and ICICI bank are delightful to work for this project. The bank will collect the tax through the e-tolls on national Highways. ICICI bank is the first one to introduce this facility in Mumbai. The motorist can now easily make the payments. The payments will be deducted from their respective accounts. An innovative measure introduced by the bank making toll payments convenient for the passengers
