Banks need to pay heed towards their work culture

Yesterday a top bank official stated that the work culture in some private sector banks, can lead to reputation risk. Bank need to improve their work culture and focus on retaining and managing talent.

The apex bank observed that the banking profession is being hated by some youngsters . Recently RBI has issued pink slips to many of the employees. When they fail to meet the management’s expectations on the targets, the employees are coldly weeded out. Some bank ste difficult and unrealisitic targets for their employees, as result employees face great difficulty in achieving the targets and coplete the work. RBI has asked the PS U banks to improve their work culture.
