Financial literacy camp organized by SBI

Recently State bank of India has organized a financial literacy camp at Chenmoho village. The aim of the camp was to create the awareness among the villagers regarding banking and encourage them to open saving accounts, recurring deposit account, term deposit account, basic savings accounts etc.

The camp highlighted on the advantages of availing credit facilities like Kissan Credit Card, people were informed regarding the banking services and their advantages that they were unaware of. The members were also informed to form SHGs, JLGs etc. for availing the various credit facilities provided by the banks. The camp was attended by the villagers, students, village council.

Many more topics were also highlighted, informing the people about banking services and encouraging them to be aware of them and use them for their benefits.
