It has been reported that the banks generating jobs on a bigger scale is expected to continue. Aspirants looking to work with the banks will be getting opportunities, but getting the jobs in banks may not be easy because competition for the jobs in the banking sector is robustly rising up. Due to the reasonable salary, job security, improved status in society banking jobs are high on demand.

According to the reports of Institute of Banking Personnel Selection, for the last two years a huge number of applications for nearly 1 crore per year are received. The numbers of application are much higher than the number of post. The number of posts was 50,000 on an average a year.

The need to increase the focus on the financial inclusion and enhance the financial services in the unbanked areas is leading to the increase in jobs hiring in the banking sector. SBI is hiring 1,897 probationary officers through an online Exam in June. Further Canara Bank will be hiring on large scale more than the last year. Is has been reported that from approximately 2 crore applications only 10% get selected for the interview.
