IDBI bank donated Rs 9 cr as a part of CSR responsibility

As part of corporate social responsibility IDBI bank donated Rs 9 crore to provide the proper sanitation facilities to the children of the school in semi rural and urban areas. As per the CSR responsibilities the bank is contributing towards the social development of the country. This amount will be used to develop proper 300 gender-segregated toilets in schools close to the bank’s branches in rural and semi-urban areas. In order to enhance the health and sanitation facilities for the students in the rural areas the bank has come up with this initiative.

CMD of the bank stated that this is the contribution of the bank towards the Swachh Bharat Mission- the yojana declared by the prime minister in the speech on 15th august, 2014.
