PNB met life and Karnataka Bank launched a project to educate poverty stricken children in Karnataka

To facilitate the children with the education facilities and make more of the children educated, the Private insurance company with the help of Karnataka Bank has launched a program to educate children in Karnataka.

As a part of its corporate social responsibility the insurance company and bank have decided to come up with a project that will benefit nearly 12,000 children in their education. MD and CEO of the insurance company reported that there are approx 2.13 crore children in the state, out of which 43% leave their education in between. This project will focus on such children and will try to educate maximum of the children over there. The Karnataka Bank will assist the PNB met life in this project in all the areas where ever the bank is having a good presence.

President of PNB met life stated that education of the poverty stricken children is one of the main aims of the CRS activities of the company. Met life foundation has a charitable trust which has donated over $600 million for CSR activities worldwide since 1976.
