RBI warning against the frauds occurring on the name of RBI

The apex bank of the country –RBI last week raised an alarm to alert the public. The RBI announced that many fraudsters are deceiving common people by issuing them credit cards in the name of the RBI.

RBII clearly stated that bank is not associated with any business with an individual, whether through savings bank account, current bank account, credit card, debit card, online banking services. Apart from this bank also informed that fraudsters also sending fraud mails on their behalf stating lottery wins, fake RBI links are given in the mail.

RBI want the public to be aware of such frauds and do not fall prey of them. They also make offers of employment in the Reserve Bank through email.
