SBI bank reported increase of 46% in mobile banking

The highly network bank of the country State bank of India reported a surge in its mobile banking. The reports showed that there is an increase of 46% in mobile banking in the January-December 2014 period compared to the year ago period.

In a period of year the number of mobile banking transactions have increased from 85.78 lakh to 1.25 crore transactions. The average mobile transaction per customer was Rs7,052.Mobile banking is playing a crucial role in banking. SBI have further plans of tie ups.
