Deutsche Bank appoints Ravneet Gill as CEO in India

Ravneet Gill has been named as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Germany based Deutsche Bank's Indian businesses. He has also been selected as a member of the bank's Asia Pacific Executive Committee.

Ravneet Gill replaces Mr. Gunit Chadha, who was the Head of the bank in India, prior to Gill's appointment. Mr. Chadha, who has been leading Deutsche Bank for the last nine years, has been promoted and appointed as Deutsche Bank's co-CEO for the entire Asia Pacific region. He has also been made a Member of Global Group Executive Committee of the foreign bank.

Earlier, Mr. Gill was working as the Head of Capital Markets & Treasury Solutions, India since the year 2011. Mr. Gill has a rich experience in the field of banking, having worked across different segments in the field for 26 years including segments such as transaction banking, private banking, risk management, foreign exchange and structured financing.
