One of the biggest lenders of the country ICICI bank and telecom service provider Vodafone together launched M-Pesa service in Andhra Pradesh yesterday. Vodafone in association with the ICCI bank rolled out this service. The service will now available throughout the country. Currently the service is available across 60,000 agent outlets, covering over 1.2 million customers across the country. In Andhra Pradesh the service will be accessible in 23 districts. This is very innovative initiative that will be offering facilities like deposits and cash withdrawals from designated outlets, transfer money to any mobile phone or remit money to any bank account in India, make payments to recharge mobile, clear utility bills including DTH service renewals. At present the M-Pesa facility is available in English, Hindi, Bengali, Marathi and gujarati. Soon it will come up in more languages. M-Pesa is one of the best ways to send the money to the families. This service is very beneficial offering many facilities to the customers. |
