India to soon have ANZ Bank branches

It has been reported that RBI has allowed Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ) to open new banking branches in the country. Banking branches will be established in gurgaon and banglore. Bank is already having one branch in Mumbai. CEO of the bank reported that The new branches will complement our existing branch in Mumbai by enabling greater coverage and connectivity for our customers. Foreign banks are increasing their network in India rapidly.

Previouly Citi Bank also established three branches in the country. In the past RBI has allowed foreign banks to establish 17-18 branches in a year. Standard chartered bank is having largest network among foreign banks in India.
