Money transfer simply through phone contact book: HDFC bank

Leading private sector lending bank - HDFC bank has announced to launch a new innovative app that will enable the customer to send money easily. The customer will now be able to send the money 24X7 simply through their phone contact book.

The new name Chillr will make sending money easy, the receivers not necessarily need to have a account in HDFC bank. It will allow them to transfer money using a contact’s mobile number alone. An innovative app that will reduce the efforts to send the money and make the process much more simpler and quick.

Through the app, one can send Rs 1-5,000 a day. While the bank will not levy any charges. Immediately the money will get transfer to the person. The bank also plans to add new services such as payment of utility bills (mobile top-ups, DTH recharge, etc.) to this app.
