SBI bank branches resume their working in J&K

Banks are working persistently with the aim to help the fold affected people in Jammu & Kashmir. After J&K now the leading bank of the country State Bank of India has made it several branches operational in the state.

The state is severely affected due to the flood. SBI bank has made 63 of its branches to resume their working. Apart from this bank has also made 132 ATMs operational. Some branches of the bank are acutely damaged namely Badshah Chowk, Badami Bagh, Jawahar Nagar and Rajbagh in Srinagar city, it might take longer period for these branches to recover and resume their working.

In addition to this bank has also installed seven mobile ATMs, in the areas which are devoid of banking facilities. The customers can visit the ATMs and branches to carry out their banking transactions. Bank will further organize rehabilitation ad restricting schemes for the people affected over there.
