Special FD offered by SBH to celebrate anniversary

Public sector lender, State Bank of Hyderabad recently came up with a new special fixed deposit scheme in order to enmark the celebrations of its 70th anniversary.

The scheme was offered to customers for only two days that is 04 and 05 April 2012.

"We will be offering 70 basis points higher interest than the normal card rate on deposits for 70 weeks on these two days. This translates into a 10.2 per cent interest,'' Mr M. Bhagavantha Rao, Managing Director, SBH said.

The senior citizens got a 50 bps higher interest rate.
