HDFC Bank announced new senior management appointments

India's second largest private sector lender, HDFC Bank has announced new senior level appointments.

HDFC Bank in a statement said that Mr. Ajay Gupta, Mr. Akshay Dixit and Abhishek Sharma have been appointed to lead the infrastructure finance, financial services, healthcare and pharmaceutical verticals respectively.

Mr. Gupta was previously in GE Capital and he will take care of the infrastructure finance. Mr. Dixit is appointed as Head, Financial services in the corporate finance team and Mr. Sharma will be heading the life science department of the investment banking division. Both Mr. Sharma and Mr. Dixit previously worked with MAPE Advisory Group.

Mr. Rakesh Singh, Head of Investment Banking at HDFC Bank said, "The appointments have been made keeping in mind the larger objectives of growing our investment banking business".
