Tata Capital Housing Finance joined the race with banks and other financial institutions lending home loans at cheaper rates to the women. It has been reported that tat capital will also offer home loan on lower rates to its women customers.

A bank statement reported that the company generally offers at a rate 10.50% but will be offering a rate of 10.15% to the female buyers for a loan upto Rs 40 lakhs. Last year in December State Bank of India introduced a scheme where the bank offered its women customers with a rate of 10.10% for up to 75 lakhs and 10.25% for loan above 25 lakhs.

LIC also availed a similar scheme to the women customers, which ended last month. The Tata finance is offering the scheme till 8th of March. In order to enjoy the benefit of the scheme women buyer must have title to the property either single or jointly.
