In a meeting with RBI officials and commercial banks, the CM said that the loans provided by the commercial banks to PACs should be categorized as direct finance. At present, these loans are treated as indirect finance.

After the meeting, the CMs office issued a statement saying that the CMs appeal had been taken positively by the banks.
