SBI donates for special children as CSR activity

India's largest lender, State Bank of India (SBI), Hyderabad Circle has donated a Tata Winger worth Rs 5.68 lakh to Sri Vidhya's Centre for the Special Children, East Marredpally as part of its corporate social responsibility efforts.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Rakesh Sarma, Chief General Manager of SBI-Hyderabad said during the year 2012-13, his bank donated necessary equipment worth Rs 6 crore to various schools, according to a press release.
