SBI manager held under fake currency charges

In yet another case of fake currency deposit, a FIR has been lodged against a manager of the largest lender of the country, State Bank of India by Reserve Bank of India.

The FIR has been lodged by manager of RBI, Anupam Chaudhary against the manager of SBI at P D Road branch of Kanpur.

He has been charged for depositing fake currency notes of Rs 100 valuation in RBI treasury.
