Public sector lender Syndicate Bank has crossed Rs 39000 crore in terms of total business from Hubli region.
The bank has recently opened its 10th financial inclusion branch in Gadag district. Speaking on the launch of the new branch, AGM of the bank, Mr Srikanth B. Kulagod said that the bank has 13 branches in this district of which 3 are financial inclusion branches.
The bank has a total business of Rs 315 crore from this district.
"It may be worthy to mention here the credit to agriculture is Rs 95 crore and priority sector advances crossed Rs 142 crore. The bank has identified Ron and Gadag as prospective places to open new branches," he added.
