Andhra Bank launching new 500 branches

Andhra bank is planning to expand its banking network across the country by opening 500 new branches in 2014-15. It has been reported that at present the bank is having 2,000 branches all over the country.

The bank will be opening 50 new branches in branches in Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu & Kashmir and Union Terriroty of Chandigarh. The executive director of the bank stated that bank is focusing to enhance its business and earn up to Rs 2.60 lakh crore by end of 2013-14. He also stated that bank is focusing more on retail and SME segments. Recently executive director initiated a new branch which was fully equipped with cash deposits machine, passbook printing kiosk and Internet banking kiosk in order to provide faster banking services to customers.
