Axis bank inks deal with DBS Bank

Leading private sector lender Axis bank has inked a deal with DBS bank for money transfer from Singapore to India. DBS bank is a Singapore based lender. The customers can avail the benefits through AxisRemit Online facility of the bank.

Head of Treasury and International Banking at Axis Bank, Mr. P. Mukherjee said, "AxisRemit Online has come a long way in the last three years since its launch. Superior money transfer experience has now become a key pillar in service delivery and the tie-up with DBS Bank is a step forward in this direction."

The head at DBS Bank India (Global Transaction Services), Mr. Sanjeev Uppal said, "We are committed to playing a strategic role in connecting India with Asia, especially Singapore, which is our home country. This tie-up with Axis Bank to facilitate remittances from Singapore to India is yet another example of fulfilling this commitment. We look forward to providing Axis Bank customers a differentiated, Asian service experience."
