Bihar’s CM expressed his dissatisfaction towards the performance record of banks.

On the 46th Quarterly State level Bankers meeting in Bihar, CM addressed the banking sector for the lower performance rate in the state. CM Nitish Kumar also revealed his dissatisfaction towards these banks due to the poor parameters in the CD ratio and various Loan targets.

As Bihar is counted among the financially poor states among other states of India, so by providing the Kisan credit cards and other loans on agriculture, education have helped to bring a very nominal change in the financial scenario of the state. While raising a point to the performance record of the banks of Bihar state, Ministers of Education and Agricultural field too revealed their concern about the lower rate of loans in the Bihar. For this low response rate for loans, the political heads of Bihar are accusing the low performance records of the banks.

They mentioned that now Banks are failing to attract more customers to the bank. Apart from expressing their concern, CM revealed that, being located in the rural area, banks must consider the response of rural people, rather than considering the branches as the city life oriented branches.
