BNP Paribas India sees its corporate segment co-head in Jwalant Nanavati

One of the oldest foreign banks in India, BNP Paribas (India) has appointed a new co-head for its corporate finance segment. Mr. Jwalant Nanavati has been selected for the post by the bank.

Nanavati will assume office in Mumbai and will be reporting to Mr. Ganesh Murugaiyan, who is the Chief of Investment Banking and Strategic Coverage of the French global bank.

Before his appointment in BNP Paribas, Jwalant Nanavati was working with Deutsche Bank India as its investment banking director.

On the appointment of Nanavati, the Chief Executive Officer and Country Head of BNP Paribas India, Mr. Jacques Michel said, "Jwalant's appointment further demonstrates our commitment to strengthening our investment banking presence here." Michel further added that Nanavati's rich experience in the banking industry along with the bank's global branch network will help BNP Paribas India to provide valuable services to its customers and increase the bank's capital globally.
